I am obsessed with these little bites, and they are going very fast in our house! I love that it's made with simple ingredients and tastes like a little frozen treat.

These little bites hit the spot! They're creamy, sweet, a little tart from the raspberries, and finished with a drizzle of dark chocolate.

Why You'll Love These Raspberry Yogurt Bites

  • Simple ingredients: Made with Greek yogurt, raspberries, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and dark chocolate.
  • Protein and fiber: Greek yogurt adds protein, while raspberries contribute fiber.
  • Perfect for chocolate lovers: The dark chocolate topping pairs perfectly with the sweet and slightly tart raspberry.
  • Easy to make ahead: Keep a batch in the freezer for a quick snack or after-dinner treat.
  • Family-friendly: These little bites are fun to make with kids and easy to customize.

I love finding ways to make snacks a little more satisfying without making them complicated. You don't need a long ingredient list or fancy kitchen gadgets to put together something delicious!

Ingredients for Raspberry Yogurt Bites

You only need three simple ingredients to make these frozen raspberry yogurt bites.

  • Vanilla high-protein Greek yogurt: The creamy base of the recipe. Choose a variety you enjoy eating. I used Ratio vanilla Greek yogurt and the balance of fat and vanilla made this recipe exceptional. I think it almost tastes like cheesecake bites - so good!
  • Raspberries: Fresh or frozen raspberries both work well. They add a sweet-tart flavor and fiber.
  • Dark chocolate: Use chocolate with at least 60% cacao for a rich chocolate topping that complements the fruit. Here are the dark chocolate chips I used in the recipe.

Tips for the Best Raspberry Yogurt Bites

  • Use a silicone mold. It can make removing the frozen bites much easier.
  • Melt the chocolate slowly. Heat it in short intervals and stir frequently to prevent burning.
  • Make extra. These are easy to prepare ahead of time so you have a sweet snack ready to go.

How to Store Frozen Yogurt Bites

Keep your raspberry yogurt bites in an airtight, freezer-safe container once they're frozen. Store them in the freezer and enjoy them straight from the freezer after letting them soften for 10–15 minutes.

For the best texture, avoid leaving them out for too long, since the yogurt will begin to melt.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use frozen raspberries?

Absolutely! Frozen raspberries work well in this recipe. Let them thaw slightly before mashing them with a fork. If they release a lot of liquid, drain a little excess juice before adding the chia seeds.

Can I use regular Greek yogurt instead of high-protein yogurt?

Yes! Regular Greek yogurt works well. The protein content will vary depending on the brand and type of yogurt you choose.

Can I use strawberries or blueberries instead?

Definitely! Try mashed strawberries or blueberries in place of raspberries. You can even mix different berries to create your own flavor combinations.

How long do the yogurt bites take to freeze?

They usually take about 2–3 hours to become firm, although the timing can vary depending on the size of your molds and your freezer.

Are these yogurt bites good for kids?

They're a fun snack for kids who enjoy yogurt, berries, and chocolate. Because they freeze firm, allow the bites to soften until they have an appropriate texture before serving, especially to younger children.
