Make a meal or snack in a couple of minutes!

I am always up for pizza anytime of the day from breakfast to snack to appetizer or a meal – its a winning combination!

What I really love about these little mini pizzas is how quickly I can make a pizza in the air fryer.

For the crust, I have used two different bases, bagel thins or sandwich thins. Both products contain fiber and protein to add a little more sustenance to the meal or snack.

What you need

With just a few ingredients on hand, you or the kids can put together a mini pizza in a snap!

CRUST: Feel free to use a variety of options for your crust such as a bagel, bagel thin, sandwich thin, or mini pita rounds.

My favorites to use are bagel thins and sandwich thins because they provide a bit more protein and fiber, plus I love being able to eat TWO mini pizzas, the more the better, right?!

Bagel thins provide 4 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein.

Sandwich thins (100% whole wheat) provide 4 grams of fiber and 7 grams of protein.

SAUCE: For the sauce, a jarred pizza sauce or marinara sauce works well. Tomato sauces are high in lycopene.

  • Lycopene is a phytonutrient found in plants that give fruits their color.  The benefits may include reduce certain cancers, improve heart health, and act like a “sunscreen” to prevent sunburn.
  • Tomatoes are one of the best sources of lycopene, especially tomato pureed products, like sauces. Enjoy your favorite tomato sauce in this pizza!

CHEESE: Top with your favorite mozzarella or dairy free shreds for your mini pizza.

MEATS: If you want to add pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon, or any other meat toppings to your pizza. I enjoy turkey pepperoni and minis are so cute, if you can find them.

VEGGIES: Feel free to add any peppers, spinach, onions, or any other veggies to your pizza, or my kids like to enjoy them as a side with a dip.

Filling & Fast

These mini pizzas will satisfy your pizza craving any time of the day and it only took me about 5 minutes (assemble and put together).

These would make a great after school snack, quick lunch (for you or the kids), or a go-to meal when time is crunched.
