Oh boy! Who’s ready for some dips, appetizers, drinks and football! That sounds like a lot of fun and I’m actually looking forward to the game and the commercials. Bring out the air-fryer and crock-pot! I’m ready to eat and watch!
Today I’m sharing a two-ingredient, totally addicting dip. Heat and serve or add right to the crock-pot.
That’s it! Hummus and salsa! It really looks a nacho dip but I’m sure with this dip, we will be saving a bunch of calories (or just save it for other treats and drinks 🤣).
And I have to throw my two cents in there about the benefits of this dip…

Hummus is made from garbanzo beans, aka, chick peas that contain sources of protein, fiber, iron, B vitamins and so many more beneficial nutrients. Hummus is made with healthy fats: olive oil and sesame seeds (tahini). These two healthy fats are very helpful for the body and rich in anti-inflammatory agents to help ward off cancers and other unwanted damage to the body.
Salsa is packed with so many veggies! Have you ever made salsa? 😂 I think I made it once and honed in my inner "Martha Stuart" and grew a salsa garden. It was great but it was a lot of hard work. Salsa is loaded with so many nutrient-dense ingredients. Tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, onions and more. The benefits go on from lowering the risk of cancers to promoting a healthy gut.
