I have used honey before but I find I need to use double the amount. Agave nectar has a lower viscosity which helps to use less with same sweeteness. Plus agave nectar ranks lower on the glycemic index, therefore doesn’t raise blood sugar as high as sugar or even honey.
I hope you enjoy friends!
