Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bites

Hey friends!  It is Thursday and today I would like to feature an easy breakfast ideas (or the perfect afternoon sweet treat).  I love making energy/protein bites because they are so simple and I don’t have to bake them. I don’t know how many times I have burnt cookies because I have gone off and done something else, anyone else?  Energy/protein bites are a must in my freezer (storing them in the frig is great too).

Here are the ingredients for these simple bites:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bites

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup natural peanut butter

1/4 cup agave

1/4 cup ground flaxseed

2 scoops protein powder (or 1 serving of protein powder)

2 tbsps. cocoa

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

PREPARATIONS:

Mix together peanut butter and agave.  Add protein powder, flaxseed, cocoa and mini chocolate chips.  Use a cookie scoop and make 20 to 22 bites. Place bites in frig or freezer.
