Past DD post – Organics – Taste the difference


Organics popularity is gradually increasing as many consumers are going back to the philosophy of eating wholesome, real foods with out all the other “stuff.” 


I am definitely a savvy shopper so I do buy organics on sale and most of the time they are cheaper than conventional.  I really do like organic produce like I noted in a previous post.  Not only are they less harmful for my kids but they also taste better.


Here is the dirty dozen

12 Most Contaminated

  • Peaches
  • Apples
  • Sweet Bell Peppers
  • Celery
  • Nectarines
  • Strawberries
  • Cherries
  • Pears
  • Grapes (Imported)
  • Spinach
  • Lettuce
  • Potatoes

Below are some produce items that you could shop conventional since they are less contaminated.  Notice most of them have a nice peel to protect the inside.
