PB2 also known as powdered peanut butter – all the flavor without all the fat.  For about two tablespoons, there are only 53 calories and little under 2 grams of fat!  They have removed 85% of the fat calories.  Now I am still a peanut butter fan because it does contain a good amount of healthy fats but I love this product, especially in recipes! 


This is an all natural product made with no preservatives.  I was a little scared to try this product as just peanut butter because the directions say to just add water with the powdered PB2 to make real peanut butter – whaat!  Seriously it is really good!  I think it took me about six months before I finally tried it with water.


Here are some nice simple recipes to try using the PB2.


Chocolate Banana Smoothie

2 tbsp chocolate PB2

1 banana

1 cup skim milk

Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!


Peanut Butter Fluff

2 tbsp PB2

1 cup skim milk

1 package fat free instant chocolate pudding mix

1 cup light whipping cream, already whipped

2 (100-calorie) packages of Oreo cookies

Blend together PB2, skim milk, pudding mix.  Fold in whipping cream and top with candy bar. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.  This is sure a treat!
