Today’s winner is Dannon® Greek Yogurt!
I have posted many comments about Greek yogurt as well as recipes from below, but since the craze, more and more manufacturers are coming with more varieties of Greek yogurt .
Notice you get twice as much protein from Greek yogurt than regular yogurts. It also has a thicker consistency, kind of like ricotta cheese or sour cream so you can use it in place of sour cream for dip! To one plain 6-oz Greek yogurt try adding a tablespoon of Mrs. Dash seasoning (any kind) and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt – wonderful for eating a bunch of fresh veggies!
This thick, creamy texture is decadent and perfect for dessert. It is hard to go back to regular yogurt after trying varieties of Greek yogurts. Other similar brands I have talked about and tried are Stonyfield Oikos and Fage Greek yogurts – all wonderful!
