No time! Tired! . . . What is for dinner?

So last night I came home from a long 13-hour day and of course nothing made for dinner – ugh!  I was driving home and thinking of all the nearest restaurants that I could stop by and quickly grab something but nothing sounded good . I really just wanted to get home! 

I remembered yesterday I put a whole 3-lb bag of boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crock-pot with some water a little bit of seasoning.   I thought, that is right, I have shredded chicken already to go – now, what to make with shredded chicken?   

Yeah! – in 10 minutes I can put together Buffalo Chicken Flatbread!!!!!  And I was able to go home right away!



Here is chicken I shredded right after I took it out of the crock-pot (super easy to shred when hot).

Time-Saving Crock-Pot Chicken

3 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts (I used frozen and did not thaw)

6 cups water

2 tbsp chicken grill seasoning or 2 tsp chicken bouillon


Put all ingredients in the crock-pot on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours.


You will have chicken already to go for the next couple of weeks!  It will save you time and you can throw this chicken into many dishes that can be made in a flash!  Such a great tip to use for healthy homemade meals!
