The “No-Recipe” Caramel Apple Salad

Are you craving something sweet but don’t want to break your calorie budget and still want it to be healthy?

Here is the perfect “recipe”  or what I like to call for many of my recipes the “dump method” – that way if you make a mistake, no one will know and if you don’t have every item in the so-called recipe, no big deal!


If you are making it for a large group this will serve at least 15 to 20 people.

     8 apple, diced (keep the skin on because that is where all the nutrients hide)

    4 containers Yoplait® Delights(TM) Caramel Parfait

    1 (8-oz) can crushed pineapple, drained

    Top with granola (below is my favorite granola)


If you want to make a single serving – there are many ways you can do this depending upon how many calories you want this to be.  Here is a good start!

     1 apple, diced

     1/2 container Yoplait® Delights(TM) Caramel Parfait

     Top with a sprinkle of granola

This would probably be about 140 to 150 calories!  If you have it for breakfast do the entire container of the yogurt and more granola!



This is the granola that I like to use plus you gain a great source of fiber and heart healthy omega-3s!

This granola is light and crunch – not too heavy like some others which it is also lighter in calories compared to some others.

It makes a great breakfast, snack or even dessert!  Even though it tastes AMAZING – it is loaded with antioxidants, calcium, vitamin D (which now all Yoplait yogurts have added vitamin D to help with calcium absorption and many others benefits), fiber, heart-healthy omega-3’s and so many more!
