Sometimes the same old dressing gets a little boring – here is an awesome recipe that you can make! I like to put all ingredients in a pourable plastic container or an old jar and shake to mix. Keep in the fridge and use as needed. The great part about it is you won’t have to eat this dressing for an entire month!
This nutritious salad provides a great amount of antioxidants and heart-healthy omega-3 fats – plus it tastes like a salad you would get in a restaurant.
All you need:
6 cups greens
2 ½ cup sliced strawberries
½ cup sliced red onions
½ cup toasted walnuts, toasted
1/4 cup olive/canola oil
1/4 cup sugar (may use sugar substitute)
1/3 cup cider or red wine vinegar
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp paprika
1/8 tsp pepper
All you do:
Combine oil, sugar, red wine vinegar, salt, paprika, and pepper together in a bowl and mix in oil. Toss dressing over greens, strawberries, onions and walnuts all together. May add diced rotisserie chicken to salad.
