Still time to bake some goodies!  Try these simply wonderful recipes for the holidays.  Both recipes are four ingredients or less!  That is my kind of baking – especially the week of Christmas!

Chocolate Delights

Serves 6 dozen cookies.

All you need:

2 1/2 cups no-sugar-added applesauce

1 (18.25 oz) yellow cake mix

2 cups old-fashioned oats

1 cup mini dark chocolate chips

All you do:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients together and blend well.
  3. With a measuring spoon, drop rounded teaspoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared cookie sheet.
  4. Bake for 14 to 15 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown.

Sweet Angel Treats

Serves 24.

All you need:

1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple
1 box (   oz) angel food cake mix

All you do:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix together crushed pineapple and cake mix.
  3. Lightly oil 18 muffin cups. Divide the batter among them, filling each cup about half full.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
  5. Cool cupcakes before removing from tins.
